The storage of the lever drag reel is basically drag-free. However, if left as it is, the spool will reverse and backlash easily.
There was absolutely nothing convenient to do, such as wrapping masking tape or tying a rubber band around the end of the leader.
It is easy to install and remove, and uses a thin fastener belt that does not get in the way when replacing the spool.
It is ideal for clutch type bait reels and can also be used for spinning reels.
